Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mission Impact is an entrepreneurial and visionary leader responsible for setting strategy, driving growth, and ensuring operational excellence. The CEO will shape the company’s direction, foster innovation, and lead a high-performing team to execute Mission Impact’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Vision

• Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies aligned with short-term and long-term organizational goals.
• Identify and capitalize on market trends, emerging technologies, and strategic opportunities to position Mission Impact as a leader in the industry.
• Build and execute revenue-generating initiatives, securing funding through partnerships, grants, and earned income models.
• Serve as the primary spokesperson, representing Mission Impact’s mission, values, and objectives to stakeholders, investors, and clients.

Organizational Growth & Operations

• Oversee all operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and scalability.
• Develop and refine brand management strategies, establishing Mission Impact as a recognized and trusted industry leader.
• Foster a culture of innovation and impact, ensuring alignment with the organization's core values.
• Implement cutting-edge technology solutions to improve operational effectiveness and enhance client services.

Financial Management & Sustainability

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to ensure fiscal sustainability and growth.
• Manage revenue, expenses, and external funding sources, ensuring long-term financial health.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, making data-driven decisions to drive profitability.
• Establish and nurture relationships with investors, funders, and philanthropic partners to secure strategic funding and investment opportunities.

People & Culture Development

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing senior executive team, driving engagement and accountability.
• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment that attracts and retains top talent.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, board members, and key partners.
• Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and governance best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven CEO or senior leadership experience in a start-up, nonprofit, or technology-driven organization.
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with a track record of scaling businesses and driving revenue growth.
• Deep understanding of the nonprofit sector, technology solutions, and strategic business development.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial management, corporate governance, and operational execution.
• Proven ability to develop and implement successful revenue-generating strategies, including fundraising, investment, and partnerships.
• Strong public speaking and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, inspire, and lead.
• Successful background check, including criminal, credit, and legal investigations.
