What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fundraising Strategist position at Bridge Philanthropic Consulting?
We seek experienced fundraising consultants to work in a fast-paced environment by leading a campaign for our clients. In this position, you will partner closely with the Project Lead to ensure the BPC team meets the client's scope of work.
- Partner closely with the Project Lead to ensure the BPC team advances donor prospects through fundraising, including developing a campaign plan.
- Work with the prospect researcher to develop a list of top donor prospects and ensure that qualified prospects are aligned with the client’s campaign vision and case.
- Assist in developing customized cultivation and solicitation strategies for individual donors, corporations, and foundation prospects through relationship building.
- Assist in preparing pitch decks, fundraising strategies, applications, and materials for pitch meetings.
- Assist clients with donor prospect follow-up updates in BPC tracking tools.
- Regularly attend monthly client preparation, board meetings, and BPC internal team meeting.
- Assist the clients in devising and implementing fundraising strategies for their programs, and specific projects, and review implementation regularly.
- Develop and improve the effectiveness of the organization-wide oversight, monitoring, and coordination of fundraising and reporting.
- Produce, develop, and deepen existing donor relationships, ensuring the organization maintains effective communications.
- Analysis of the current fundraising landscape, including research of prospective donors and how to reach them for clients; Schedule meetings with potential donors weekly.
- Provide independent advice and support in developing and executing strategic, operational plans to meet defined fundraising targets, objectives, and aspirations.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in business, marketing, philanthropy, nonprofit management, or relevant field preferred.
- Minimum five years of proven successful fundraising experience.
- Experience delivering on client deliverables and preparing detailed internal reports.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work 10 -15 hours weekly and be available during the day.
- Ability to occasionally attend in-person client meetings.
