Bridge Philanthropic Consulting (BPC) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Sales Representative to join our team. This role is critical in helping us meet our sales targets by providing excellent customer service to potential clients and fostering long-term relationships. As part of BPC, you will play an essential role in supporting our mission of delivering impactful, philanthropic solutions to clients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be knowledgeable about the product
- Identify prospective customers, lead generation, and conversion
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
- Emphasize the features of our services to highlight how they solve customer problems
- Answer questions about the services
- Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
- Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales or customer relationship management, preferably in a mission-driven environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make compelling sales presentations
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and fundraising or sales targets
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team initiatives
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and CRM/fundraising software
- Ability to prepare and analyze reports to track sales progress and performance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven success in nonprofit or corporate sales, with a focus on developing long-term client relationships.
- Experience with Moves Management systems or other strategic approaches to managing client engagement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve ambitious sales targets, particularly in multimillion-dollar deals.
- Familiarity with sales strategies, including client cultivation and relationship-building, and an understanding of corporate sales trends.
- Experience working with CRM software specific to sales, with a focus on tracking client interactions and generating actionable insights.
Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred): In business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Minimum): with 3 to 5 years relevant sales experience.
- Additional Sales Certifications (Optional): Certifications in CRM systems, sales techniques, or client management (e.g., Certified Professional Salesperson) are a plus and demonstrate commitment to professional development.
