We are offering a wonderful opportunity to begin at the ground floor (with opportunity for growth) of an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery practice.
Days: Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays 8-4.
Primary responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining a neat, organized, and well documented sterilization department.
Responsible for assisting the doctor in the clinical treatment of patients and surgical procedures
Responsible for maintaining a neat, organized, and well documented sterilization
Adhere to OSHA protocols and HIPAA standards
Prepare treatment trays for various procedures and prepare patients for treatments
Discharging patients
Taking appropriate X-rays/CT scans
Responsible for pre op and post op protocols in office and with patients
Personal Requirements:
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS, CPR Certification
- Graduate of accredited oral surgery assisting program or some oral surgery assisting experience - Preferred
- Coursework in oral surgery instruments and procedures
- Compliance with state oral surgery practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA training)
- Computer skills: WinOMS, OMSVision DSN experience preferred.
Salary:
- Compensation commensurate with experience.
