What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineering Technician position at Bridge Technical Talent?
This is a contract to hire role.
MUST work on site Monday-Friday in Providence, RI.
Must have experience as an electrical/electronic technician in a high voltage lab environment.
This person will be working independently on electrical/electronic product testing conducting performance, reliability, diagnostic, and UL testing. Experience with electronic safety devices such as Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI’s) would be the preferred candidate, but similar electrical product testing experience is acceptable.
-Must have an Associates Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical).
-Minimum of 2 years experience in a design environment.
-Must be capable of working independently under engineering direction.
Must have proficiency in setting up and using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, programmable thermal chambers, etc.
