What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP Application Support Specialist position at Bridge Technical Talent?
This role MUST be worked ON SITE 5 days per week in the Norwich, CT area.
THIS is NOT a Corp to Corp role
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced IT environment providing high-level application support-including ERP System support.
- 2-years’ experience managing ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system applications,(ANY ERP system experience such as EPICOR, ePS, SAP, etc) within manufacturing
- Experience writing, editing, and publishing Crystal Reports.
- Demonstrates proven ability to be able to identify system requirements in a specification format and translate, through system programming, into a useful computer-based application.
- Must possess the ability to interface with end users and perform as a liaison between IT and the affected area.
- Flexibility, professionalism, good communication skills, and the ability to learn are crucial for this role.
- Flexible and willing to be on call rotation.
Job Responsibilities
- Proficient in ANY ERP software (ePS Radius preferred but will consider other ERP System experience). as well as writing Crystal reports.
- Works collaboratively with other IT staff members, vendors, and customers to ensure that systems and business requirements are met.
- Help Desk experience supporting mid-level companies while working within a small IT department
- Provide various high-level application implementation, troubleshooting and problem resolution to the applications assigned.
- The ability to research and find solutions to application issues when needed.
- Support field upgrades and maintenance tickets for supported applications.
- Ensure valid monitoring alarms are ticketed for supported applications.
- Ensure applications meet standard profile management for all assets.
- Develop tool initiatives and ongoing enhancement improvements.
- Develop a strong working relationship with application vendors, all departments, and within the IT Organization.
- Effectively identifies, documents, and communicates business requirements.
- Comfortable working on projects together as a team as well individually.
- Ensures stability and develops roadmaps for all assigned applications.
- Continually monitors, resolves application, and other help desk issues.
- Work in test environment to test all applications before upgrades to ensure a smooth transition.
- Assists and supports evaluations, development, and implementation of department policies and procedures.
- Maintains and develops user-friendly documentation to ensure proper use of all applications for staff members.
