We are seeking a skilled Firewall Engineer to join our Network Engineering Team. The ideal candidate will deploy, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize firewall solutions to ensure the security and integrity of our clients’ networks. This role requires hands-on experience with a variety of firewall platforms, security best practices, and working in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Firewall Management : Configure, Manage, and Maintain Fortinet Firewalls
- Migrate to Fortinet Firewalls from Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Check Point, etc.
- Security Policies & Rules : Design and implement firewall rules, access control lists (ACLs), and security policies to protect network assets.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Monitor firewall logs and alerts to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Incident Response : Investigate and resolve firewall-related security incidents, vulnerabilities, and breaches.
- Network Security Optimization : Regularly review and optimize firewall configurations for performance and security improvements.
- Collaboration : Work closely with the IT, network, and security teams to integrate firewall solutions into the broader cybersecurity strategy.
- Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation of firewall configurations, policies, and procedures.
- Upgrades & Patch Management : Keep firewall firmware and software up to date with the latest security patches and updates.
