Duties
- Assist in the implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans and care plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Carry out behavior management and instructional strategies facilitated by the teacher effectively
- Collect accurate data to monitor student progress and the effectiveness of interventions.
- Foster a positive environment and establish good rapport with students
- Collaborate with other staff members as part of a team to enhance student growth and performance
Experience
- Previous experience working with children with developmental disabilities
- Previous experience working with students with autism preferred
- Previous experience working in school setting is preferred
- Familiarity with behavioral health practices and principles
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to provide clear and accurate data collection
