What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teachers Assistant position at Bridgeline Staffing?
We are currently seeking multiple contracted paraprofessionals to join our team in Dover. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students with academic and social-emotional needs
- Support classroom instruction and management
- Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by the teacher or special education team
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and behavior
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred)
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain any necessary clearances
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations
This is a contracted position with a competitive hourly rate ($23 ). The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with hours to be determined by the school's needs.
