Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors with a welcoming and professional demeanor.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate sessions using our EHR.
- Assist clients with paperwork, including consent forms, and ensure accurate documentation of client records. Transition paper documents into electronic formats as needed.
- Verify insurance coverage, process payments, address billing inquiries, and reconcile daily payment totals.
- Provide general customer service by attending to client needs throughout their services and maintaining a clean, inviting environment.
- Support counselors by organizing group notes, managing communications, and maintaining office and clinical supplies.
- Collaborate with external agencies (e.g., DCYF, Drug Court, Probation) to facilitate client support.
- Uphold HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards, ensuring the protection of client information at all times.
- Manage additional front desk responsibilities, such as handling mail and ensuring the reception area is well-organized and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Two or more years of experience as a receptionist or similar role is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a commitment to customer service
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Familiar with computers and scheduling software
- Excellent multi-tasking skills
