Position Overview:
The Cook is responsible for preparing daily meals in accordance with dietary guidelines, kitchen safety standards, and state licensing regulations. You will coordinate with the Residential Operations Manager to plan menus, manage food inventory, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals for residential clients according to the weekly menu and dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure safe food storage, labeling, and inventory rotation
- Assist with menu planning, food ordering, and tracking supplies
- Follow all agency procedures and food safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with staff and engage respectfully with clients
Requirements:
- Experience cooking for large groups or in a residential/healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of basic nutrition, food preparation, and kitchen sanitation
- Ability to follow recipes and accommodate special dietary needs (e.g., allergies, low-sodium, etc.)
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
- ServSafe Certification preferred or must obtain upon hire
- Computer skills a plus
Schedule:
Full-time or part-time available, varied shifts. Must be available to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
