ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE ANALYST JOB SUMMARY:
Here at BridgePoint, the Accounts Receivables Analyst will be responsible to identify the disposition of outstanding accounts, monitor claim status, research denials, document related account activities and verify eligibility and benefits for all payers. The Accounts Receivable Analyst must also review insurance payments for accuracy per contract, single case agreements or fee schedules/DRG and prepare underpayment appeals. The Accounts Receivables Analyst will work collaboratively with the clinical team on clinical appeals. Additionally, the Accounts Receivable Analyst communication with internal departments, insurance companies and patients regarding bills, coding, charges and payments is required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licenses/Certification: None
Experience: 3 years of hospital or skilled nursing facility medical billing or related experience preferred.
