Job Summary
The QMHP will provide clinical oversight, assessment, and therapeutic support within a peer support-driven environment. This role ensures that individuals receiving services at Bridgepoint receive high-quality, person-centered care that integrates mental health treatment with peer-led recovery approaches. The QMHP will collaborate with Peer Support Specialists and other staff to foster a supportive, recovery-oriented environment that empowers individuals to achieve personal growth and stability.
Clinical Oversight and Direct Care
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for client intake, treatment planning, and critical interventions as needed.
- Offer crisis intervention and stabilization services to clients experiencing acute distress.
- Collaborate with Peer Support Specialists to integrate clinical care with lived-experience-based support.
- Progress notes oversight.
Program Development and Supervision
- Ensure that services provided align with state and federal regulations, ethical guidelines, HIPAA guidelines, and evidence-based practices.
- Provide guidance, consultation, and training to Peer Support Specialists to enhance their ability to support individuals effectively.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to support recovery goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
Collaboration and Quality Assurance
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, including PSS, Case Managers, and external providers, to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Advocate for client needs, ensuring they have access to appropriate mental health and community resources.
- Educate and support individuals and families in understanding mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Adhere to all licensing, credentialing, and ethical standards required for the position.
- Participate in audits, program evaluations, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay informed on best practices and emerging trends in peer-supported mental health care.

Experience working in mental health settings, preferably within peer-led or recovery-oriented programs.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and strengths-based approaches.
Ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with lived experience of mental health challenges, substance use, or trauma.
Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising teams of employees.
Knowledge of Medicaid billing and documentation requirements.
Training in crisis intervention, motivational interviewing, or other evidence-based interventions.

The first QMHP to be hired by Bridgepoint Peer Services will be offered a pay match to the CEO. Anytime the CEO is given a raise in conjunction with revenue, the same pay will be offered to the QMHP as compensation for their efforts to help develop our programs. This will be in exchange for their efforts in our program development and to incentivize long term partnership and to allow our clients the consistency in the support they deserve.
