Job description
As a sales associate for the Firearms department you will be expected to assist customers in finding merchandise and making buying decisions. You will restock merchandise to ensure the department and merchandise displays are organized and full. You will perform general cleaning duties such as dusting and vacuuming to ensure a presentable department. You will also perform other duties as assigned by management. Reports directly to the Department Manager and the Assistant Managers.
Application Requirements:
- Must be a customer service oriented team player and have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
- Must have the ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
- Knowledge of company products and services.
- Strong visual merchandise ability.
- Must have good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must have the ability to stay current with industry product advances.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- May be required to cross train and perform other duties
- Ability to meet Federal requirements for handling and processing firearm transactions
- Knowledge of firearms and hunting preferred but not required
- Safe handling of firearms and Overall professionalism
- Good Computer skills and attention to detail a must!
- Must be able to process and file all paperwork correctly
A background check and drug screen are required for employment consideration.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
