What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Writer position at Bridgeport Equipment & Tool?
We are a large rental/retail store. We are looking for an energetic team member to work in our service department. The employee must possess good customer service skills, excellent phone etiquette, good work values, and good organizational skills. This is a fast paced environment. You will act as a liaison between our customers and the service technicians.
Duties are but not limited to:
Creating work orders for technicians to do repairs.
Make sure parts are ordered from the parts department to complete repairs.
Process work orders by adding parts, labor and work performed summaries.
Determine if a repair is warrantable. Submit any warranty repairs.
Dispatch Service Technicians for onsite repairs of our rental equipment.
Schedule repairs and pickups for customer's equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
