The Bridgeport Islanders, AHL affiliate of the New York Islanders, are looking for an Inside Sales Representative. This individual is expected to demonstrate ongoing alignment with the company's mission and core business values, as well as collaborate with key internal/external resources and practice ongoing self-development.
How to Make the Team
The Islanders are seeking an outgoing individual looking to begin their career in professional sports sales. The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for contributing to the sales team’s goals through aggressive outbound sales campaigns including calls, emails, texting and face-to-face meetings. This position will be responsible for making a minimum of 50 phone calls daily to generate new business by selling season ticket packages, partial/flex plans and more. Expectations for this role include working approximately 30 to 35 hours per week.
Show Us You Can
- Organize and maintain sales documents & reports
- Generate new business through outbound sales calls, emails and face-to-face meetings
- Upgrade current customers to season ticket packages
- Participate in prospecting events and hosting clients in order to close business
- Support Islanders sales team with game day requests, ticket office needs, etc.
- Assisting Islanders staff with fulfillment of Season Ticket Member perks
- All other duties as assigned by management

Where You’ll Go
- You will primarily report to our Bridgeport, CT office, along with:
- Certain home games and other events (events can fall on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays)
