Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Residential Sales professional to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our innovative technology solutions to residential customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in technology sales, with the ability to effectively manage leads and negotiate contracts. This position requires a proactive approach to lead generation and inside sales, as well as a solid understanding of software products and market trends.
Responsibilities
- Building relationships with prospects each day via phone, email, and in person to secure new business opportunities and build a network of referrals.
- Meeting and exceeding daily lead measure activities.
- Develop sales presentations and communications by working with customers, the estimating team, and subcontractors to develop accurate proposals.
- Draft sales quotes and 3D designs for material selections utilizing Hover or similar company approved software.
- Maximize productivity through calendar management, utilizing CRM and leveraging internal relationships.
- Develop goals and strategy to achieve new business acquisition within viable timelines that will be mutually established with your manager.
- Assist in Accounts Receivable when management deems it necessary.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service possible in all aspects of internal and external communications.
- Engagement in community through Chamber of Commerce functions, events, and volunteer time.
- Assist in social media content for company promotion.
- Assist management in event staffing for community events.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in direct sales, preferably in the residential sectors.
- Excellent negotiation abilities with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for both the company and clients.
- Demonstrated experience in account management, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and retention.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
- A proactive approach to business development with a keen eye for identifying new opportunities.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in business development / sales, preferably in the construction industry.
- An undergraduate degree, current enrollment in an undergraduate program, or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills; can work independently with a keen sense of urgency.
