Bridger Orthopedic is looking for a full time patient service specialist to join our team!
This critical role at Bridger Orthopedic is responsible for guiding and supporting patients in their orthopedic care on a timely basis. Ideal candidates will have empathy, be detail oriented, eager to learn, and be excited to be part of our established and growing healthcare practice.
YOU will guide our patients by:
- Discussing and understanding patient problems/needs;
- Facilitating patient care;
- Scheduling with best suited providers;
- Coordinating care with clinical operations staff;
- Directing authorization, medical records, and billing questions; and
- All around excellent customer service.
Education:
Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: 1-year medical office experience; 1-year customer service
Personal Attributes:
Often, you will be the first point of contact with our patients. Successful Patient Services Specialists will be good listeners and have great written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills are necessary for documentation in our Electronic Medical Records software. And the ability to multitask while also participating as a team player is a must. Experience in customer service (healthcare or other industry) is preferred.
