What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Mechanic position at Bridger Pipeline LLC?
This is a full-time position that is responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of various pipeline equipment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Maintain and repair mainline pumps, multi and single stage centrifugal.
- Auxiliary pumps, sumps, etc., PD pumps and smaller centrifugal pumps; replace seals, valves, elements.
- Perform alignment and troubleshooting.
- Maintain and repair valves and valve operators; perform DOT inspections on said valves.
- Maintain and repair pressure relief devices; perform DOT inspections on said valves.
- Maintain and repair all mechanical devices on the line, tank mixers, air compressors, check valves, etc.
- Assist with construction projects.
- Monitor third party digging or construction on or near pipeline and facilities.
- Order supplies and parts as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or an equivalent education and zero (0) - two (2) years of job-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to drive to and work in isolated areas on a daily basis.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
