What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities / Maintenance Technician position at Bridger Precast?
Job Description
This position like all employees of Bridger Precast is a core member of the company. Having equipment and the facility ready to go is the basis of the evaluation of this position along with the ability to repair broken equipment when it requires it. The Maintenance Tech reports to the "Maintenance manager.”
Essential Job Functions
o Performing scheduled maintenance of equipment
o Repairing equipment as needed
o Maintenance of the facility
o Repairing the facility as needed
o Repairing precast molds o Building precast molds
o Developing systems of maintenance
o Maintaining appropriate maintenance supplies and parts
o Clean metal molds
o Housekeeping
o Maintain a work environment that promotes the team emphasis on production of a quality product in a safe manner
o Initiate and embrace a safety culture where all employees feel comfortable communicating safety concerns
o All other duties as assigned
o Operate multiple pieces of equipment (cranes, forklifts)
o Maintain good housekeeping
o Follow all safety regulations on the shop floor and report any safety issues o Follow all policy and procedures of Bridger Precast o Follow all Core Values all the time

Work Schedule
This is construction-based employment. Bridger Precast along with most construction based companies in the area has a busy and slow season, Bridger Precast busy season is during the summer and fall. The number of days worked in a week during the busy season can be up to 6. This schedule can last multiple weeks or even months, though we try to keep the work hours more manageable for our team. Schedules are flexible and start and finish times will vary depending on what company needs are. The Maintenance manager will establish your work schedule.

- Machinery maintenance
- Basic Welding and fabrication

- Ability to seek out and learn about how to repair equipment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and care for personal safety of self and co-workers
- Knowledge of how to use tools and their uses Excellent organizational skills
- Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English in this position
Physical Demands
- Stand for 6-12 hours a day as needed
- Lift 100 lbs or more occasionally, lift 50 lbs frequently
- Walking primarily on a level surface, but going up and down stairs on occasion
Climbing, bending and lifting as required in the demonstration of certain job tasks Push / Pull as required
Work Environment
- Typical shop or outdoor environment approximately 100% of work week
- Daily exposure to both outdoor and indoor manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, hard hats and boots
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
