Position Summary:
The Marketing Assistant helps the Development team with marketing efforts and public relations activities at Bridgercare and reports directly to the Development Director.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Reports directly to the Development Director in management of Bridgercare’s social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) on a weekly basis in collaboration with the Marketing and Outreach Coordinator.
  • Create video content for video based social media platforms (TikTok and Instagram) on a weekly basis in a tone that is on brand, trendy, and professional.
  • Develop on-brand and effective messaging and imagery which raises public awareness of Bridgercare’s mission and services to a variety of target groups (patients, supporters, donors, community agencies, MSU, schools, and the community at large).
  • Attend community outreach events as needed and coordinate with wider team to staff community outreach events.
  • Assist Development Team with fundraising events
  • Design posters, swag, stickers, and other physical marketing materials to increase community awareness
  • Assist Development team to implement and update communication and marketing strategy to effectively reach key demographics in our community.
  • Write or assign and review 2 blogs per month for the Bridgercare website
  • Develop, organize, implement, and report results of community outreach events to further relationships with local businesses, clients, donors, and supporters.
  • Work with the Education Team to build relationships and expand knowledge of Bridgercare’s mission by promoting projects, supporting community partners, and participating in general outreach efforts.
  • Assist in writing thank you letters to Bridgercare supporters.
  • Work with the Education Team and Operations Assistant to oversee Bridgercare volunteers and interns.
  • Be a resource to colleagues for information in your area of expertise.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Development Director.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in communications, social media, graphic design, outreach or related field.
  • Experience with Canva strongly preferred
  • Experience managing social media pages preferred
  • Valid MT Driver’s License, reliable transportation and motor vehicle insurance as required by the State.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends approximately 10 – 20 % of the time.
  • Ability to travel throughout Bridgercare’s service area (Gallatin, Madison, and Park counties).
  • Total work time involving travel = about 10 % of the time.

Remote Work Eligibility:

  • Hybrid Eligible Position
  • This position must be staffed by someone who lives in or near Gallatin Valley because they regularly attend inperson events as a key part of their job. Many daily tasks for this position are collaborative with individuals across many teams, which can be made easier by working in the office. Many administrative tasks, social media management, emails, blog writing, etc. can be done from home.
  • Hybrid in person/remote eligible. Need to be in the office 30-50%.
