Here’s what you will do:
*Clean and service assigned areas
*Perform routine, repetitive tasks on a continuous basis as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
*Assemble materials and supplies from the supply room and transport them to the work area
*Clean assigned areas by washing furnishings and equipment and mopping floors with specific cleaning solutions and disinfectants to prevent the spread of disease
*Use damp, disinfectant-treated cloths and vacuum cleaner to dust window sills, blinds, floors, furniture, and equipment in an orderly fashion
*Scour and polish sinks, tubs, mirrors, and other areas as required
*Replenish supplies of soap, towels, and other dispensable items
*Request help in moving heavy furniture and in turning mattresses
*Report any mechanical failures or negative conditions observed in assigned area to the Maintenance Director.
*Wash walls and ceilings using water, cleaning solutions, sponge, and cloths
*Gather and dispose of trash, wash wastebaskets and large refuse containers, and reline with plastic bags
*Remove soiled linen from all areas
Essential For You To Have as a Bridges Housekeeper:
*Physical ability to stand, stoop, pull, push, and lift up to 25 lbs
*Ability to follow oral or written instructions
**This is a full-time day position in a healthcare facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required of you
