Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Event Planning and Coordination:
o Plan, coordinate, and execute in-person and virtual events that align with organizational goals, including fundraising events, community experiences, classes & workshops; and wildlife encounter and petting farm birthday parties.
o Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to develop event concepts, timelines, and budgets.
o Oversee logistics, including vendor coordination, setup, and event-day operations to ensure smooth execution.
- Community Engagement and Outreach:
o Design and implement community classes and activities to foster participation and build relationships with the local community.
o Coordinate wildlife and petting farm birthday parties, ensuring an engaging experience for participants.
o Partner with community vendors and venues for community event planning
o Actively engage with attendees, participants, and donors to promote the mission and goals of the organization.
- Fundraising and Campaign Support:
o Work closely with the CEO and team to support fundraising efforts, including developing events to drive donations.
o Assist in promoting events through collaboration with the team, volunteers and Social Media Coordinator to ensure effective outreach and visibility.
- Monitoring and Reporting:
o Track event metrics, including attendance, engagement, and fundraising outcomes, to evaluate event success and inform future efforts.
o Provide regular reports to leadership on event performance and community engagement efforts.
- Collaboration and Teamwork:
o Participate in regular meetings with the management team to align events and community initiatives with organizational goals.
o Work closely with the Social Media Coordinator to promote events across digital platforms.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay updated with trends in event planning and community engagement to apply best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO or management team.
