Our Program Facilitator plays a key role in our clients' continued success. We are seeking candidates who will use their knowledge and experience to aid Bridges of America in continuing to provide outstanding service to our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following:
1. Shall assist with the provision of programming to address criminogenic needs as required by contract.
2. Ensures that all applicable policies and procedures that fall within the scope of the job description are followed and adhered to.
3. Assists in the delivery of orientation to all new intakes and provides overview of facility programming.
4. Attends all Multi-Disciplinary Staffing Team meetings and assists in formulation of program plans on each inmate within 14 days of intake.
5. Monitors Community meetings, including house meetings, wrap-up meetings, and 12 step meetings.
6. Supervises offender population with special attention to reporting of all incidents.
7. Records and reports TC behavioral trends.
8. Assists with program admission documentation related to criminogenic and/or behavioral program placement.
9. Assists in the delivery of Moral Recognition Classes.
10. Oversees the Compass 100 Hybrid and Re-Entry life skills program.
11. Oversees the GED Virtual Academy placement and progress of inmates enrolled in GED courses.
12. Assists in the delivery of employability training, documentation and file upkeep working in collaboration with the assigned employment specialist(s).
13. Acts as back up facilitator for the delivery of employment classes, Anger Management, Family Reunification and Victim Awareness classes in the absence of the primary facilitator on an as needed basis.
14. Assist the Facility Director or designee in seeking out linkages to community providers to deliver transitional services and education/vocation opportunities to inmates while in paid employment.
15. Responsible for executing all The Company program standards and policies.
16. Be available to work all shifts to ensure proper coverage per contract and policy standards.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Four years (4) of full-time related work experience in instruction or program facilitation
EDUCATION: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or an Associates Degree w/ 2 years of full-time work experience or a High School Diploma/GED w/ 4 years of full-time related work experience in instruction or program facilitation.
