We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing & Sales Specialist to help grow our newspaper’s impact by securing advertising partnerships. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sales, marketing, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales
- Identify and reach out to businesses, organizations, and sponsors interested in advertising in the comic book newspaper.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential advertisers and partners.
- Close advertising deals and maintain strong post-sale relationships.
Marketing & Outreach
- Develop marketing strategies to promote advertising opportunities in the newspaper.
- Create compelling sales materials and presentations.
- Represent Bridges of Hope at networking events and community gatherings.
Strategy & Reporting
- Track leads, sales, and advertising revenue.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Experience in Sales & Marketing – At least 2 years in a similar role (advertising sales preferred).
Excellent Communication Skills – Ability to pitch and negotiate with potential advertisers.
Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented – Comfortable working independently to meet and exceed sales targets.
Networking Ability – Experience in community engagement or working with local businesses is a plus.
Passion for Bridges of Hope’s Mission – A desire to make a difference while driving business growth.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
