Bridges seeks to hire Testers / Assessors for our Early Childhood School program. Individuals will be trained on the administration of education evaluation tools to test students periodically during the school year. This is a part-time position. The Bridges’ testing cohort is an important part of our instructional program.

As a Tester you will be responsible for...
- Participating in Tester/Assessor orientation/training.
- Participating in ongoing training and feedback sessions on various assessment tools.
- Conducting assessments with students, maintaining test fidelity and student confidentiality.
- Accurately recording student responses and, if needed, entering information into the testing database.
- Other duties as needed to assess students.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working on-site between 9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. three to five times a week during testing
periods, in accordance with an agreed upon schedule with the assessment coordinator. - Regularly attends work and adheres to all attendance policies.
- Be on time for duties, team meetings and professional development activities.
- Read provided school information and adhering to all deadlines.
- Respond to all emails within 24 hours or the next business day.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in education, educational administration, or related field.
- Previous work experience in education.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures and regulations, a plus.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Have a passion for urban public schools.
- Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards.
- We are also looking for candidates who are native Spanish speakers
or non-native speakers of Spanish with a high level of language skill in Spanish. - We are also seeking candidates who speak Amharic.
SALARY & BENEFITS
This position pays an hourly rate of $25.00 per hour.
In addition to your hourly pay, which is paid on a bi-weekly schedule, you are eligible for the following: DC Sick Leave: You will receive 1 hour of DC Sick time for every 37 hours worked.
This position is not eligible for Bridges benefits.
