POSITION TITLE: Bridge Builders Program Manager
REPORTS TO: VP of Programs
FLSA: Full-time Regular, Exempt
COMPENSATION: $54,000 - $57,000 Annually (Based on Experience)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Bridge Builders Program Manager manages events, student and parent data, and summer leadership conferences for the Bridge Builders program.
ESSENTIAL Functions
Program Leadership
- Design and implement community actions and elective events in collaboration with the Program Development Director and community partners.
- Developing and implementing community-wide retention and completion strategies to meet attendance goals for Bridge Builders.
- Working with the Communications Director to develop a streamlined ongoing communication strategy for students and parents through all forms of media.
- Lead Staff at Bridge Builders events, when required
- Coordinate with the Program Coordinator to ensure community actions and electives are properly supervised and facilitated.
- Leading Program Leadership Council by planning and attending meetings and events.
- Researching and developing the Program Parent Council and implementing opportunities for Bridge Builders' parental involvement and communication.
- Manage the student and parent database/contact information in Salesforce.
- Assisting with interviewing and selecting AmeriCorps summer members. Following all established risk management procedures for Bridge Builders events and summer conferences. All other duties as required.
Conference Supervision
- Provide consistent supervision at all Bridge Builders Summer Leadership 7th—12th grade conferences, including daily check-in and dismissals, staff and student issues, on- and off-site conference issues, and disclosure reporting.
- Assisting with curriculum updates and design for all summer conferences with the Program Development Director.
- Assisting with interviewing, hiring, and managing the summer facilitators including conference coordinators and assistant conference coordinators.
- Working collaboratively with the Program Development Director to ensure all conference curriculums are updated and prepared.
- Collaborating with the VP of Programs on locations and contracts for summer conferences.
- Ensuring proper ordering of supplies and food for all conferences.
- Collaborating with the Training Manager to prepare for training week.
Communication Supervision
- Provide seamless ongoing communication with Bridge Builders students, parents, and community partners.
- Assist with maintaining budget line items
- Provide stewardship of participants/partners, including acknowledgments, regular correspondence, newsletters, website information, and follow-up reports as appropriate for the Program level.
- Work collaboratively with all BRIDGES Staff to coordinate programming schedules and events.
- Represent and speak to groups on behalf of BRIDGES at events, conferences, meetings, etc.
Evaluation Support
- Work collaboratively with the VP of Programs, Program Director, and Evaluation Manager to ensure annual evaluation systems are implemented accurately for the Program level
- Provide accurate and timely data information for monthly/quarterly/annual data reports.
- As requested, provide accurate and timely reports/requests for AmeriCorps and other funding grant sources.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree and four or more years of directly related experience; in lieu of degree, six years of directly related experience.
- Management level experience
- Two years of experience facilitating workshops and learning sessions for youth and adults
- Three years of experience developing, monitoring, or leading youth.
- Experience using MS Office, Google Suite, and project management software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, or closely related field.
- Five or more years of directly related experience.
- Management level experience supervising youth and adults with various task
- Experience working collaboratively across teams to achieve program outcomes.
- Experience in the program development and training/facilitation of experiential education curricula for adolescent youth.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask while maintaining high quality accountability measurements and documentation of all program activities.
- Strength in developing and maintaining positive working relationships where open communication exists with BRIDGES staff, community partners, and funding agencies.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Work is performed under general supervision
- Work hours are generally 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Friday, with evening and weekend work and occasional travel.
- Successful candidates must have dependable transportation to attend required events and programs.
- Represent BRIDGES at events, conferences, meetings, public forums, etc. that may require speaking to the groups on behalf of BRIDGES.
