What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manufacturing Finance Analyst position at Bridgestone Aircraft Tire (USA), Inc.?

Analyzes expenses of the organization and cost transactions related to manufacturing, inventories, and sales; ensures that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned appropriately for analysis and reporting
Prepares monthly financial reporting of variances to budget and / or forecast, especially as related to COGS
Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes breakdowns of project costs,
forecasts of remaining expenses, and opportunities to increase efficiency
Prepares periodic cost reconciliation tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs
Reviews, calculates, and and updates standard costs as needed to ensure accuracy of inventory
valuations, including but not limited to assembly of source data, calculations, and maintenance within the ERP system
Maintains standard cost system process and methodologies including documentation
Works with Inventory Cost Analyst to collectively monitor the integrity of inventory data
Prepares quarterly profitability workbooks by Customer, part number, etc. in provided format
Prepares Customer Profitability review templates as requested for business case analysis
Provides support to VP Finance in compilation of budget and forecasts, working in multi-departmental groups to collect, analyze, and verify data for most accurate output possible including complete BS and IS details.
Supports other departments as needed
Maintains SOP documents on all standard work
Cross trains others to standard processes as directed
Assist in Audits - Financial, Inventory, JSOX, etc.
Performs other related duties, as assigned
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required.
CMA certification is a plus.
At least three years of related experience in manufacturing environment required.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
