Bridgestone Americas, Inc. is a global leader in tire manufacturing and we are looking for a skilled Service Technician to join our team in Aiken, SC. As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining our production equipment and ensuring optimal production uptime.
About the Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment, performing preventative maintenance and calibration, and working closely with the Engineering team to ensure seamless installation and testing of new equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of industrial equipment
- Participate in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and procedures
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to design and implement new equipment and processes
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide support as needed during night shift, weekends, and holidays
Requirements:
- Associates degree in Electronics, General Technology, Robotics or related field and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Multi-craft experience in Electrical, Mechanical, and Electronics
- PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
