Position Summary
We are seeking a Lead Supply Chain Operations Specialist like you to join our amazing Nashville, TN corporate team.
This resource will lead the Supply Planning for imported and domestically produced OTR tires in coordination with short-term planning to ensure the optimal supply mix. Extensive cross-functional collaboration and strong analytical skills are required for success in this role. Scope will include triangulating multiple inputs to develop the most-informed supply plan, ensuring alignment with internal and external business partners, balancing business requirements with supply chain network constraints, performing business risk assessment, identifying and mitigating supply constraints, and continuously improving supply chain processes. This position is accountable for strong customer service, balanced inventory levels, and reliable financial planning.

Responsibilities
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leads large projects or processes of complex scope, with limited oversight from manager.
- Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower-level professionals.
- Lead cross functional supply source meetings.
- Key contributor to supply reviews to drive consensus alignment, including documenting assumptions, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead coordination of monthly domestic and import plan to ensure optimal customer supply.
- Investigate root causes of supply gaps and develop preventive/corrective measures.
- Coordinate key customer orders and sourcing locations with ad hoc changes mid cycle.
- Lead and coordinate monthly meetings with import suppliers to communicate opportunities.
- Track inbound supply and communicate expectations for customer inquiries.
- Protect supply for key customers through inventory reserves.
- Initiate and drive process and system improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply planning process.
- Publishing mid and long-term ( 7 months) production request by source by material balancing inventory and source constraints.
- Participation in Sales and Operation Execution and IBP Supply Review processes.
- Participation in NPP process.
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor degrees in business, supply chain, or engineering/mathematics.
- 5 years experience in supply chain planning or data analytics required.
- SAP experience required, end to end supply chain planning system experience preferred (ie SAP, JDA / BY, o9)
- Experience working in an integrated business planning process (S&OP, IBP)
- Strong analytical, and critical thinking skills. Ability to evaluate whether a result is reasonable.
- Organizationally agile, working through both formal and informal networks.
