Job Summary
The Senior Technician position at Bridgestone Americas requires an individual with advanced technical expertise and leadership skills to diagnose and repair complex drivability and electrical systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding junior technicians to ensure seamless delivery of exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and repairs: Conduct thorough diagnostics and perform repairs on brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Leadership and mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior technicians to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
- Training and development: Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous formal training.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a related vocational-technical school program.
- A.S.E. certification in at least three areas (A1-A8).
- Current Federal, State, and Local certification/license where applicable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend English fluently.
