Bridgestone HosePower, LLC is North America's Premier Hydraulic and Industrial Hose Sales and Service Company. Headquartered in Orange Park, Florida we offer Counter Service, Mobile Hose Repair, and state of the art OEM Centers throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Due to current, as well as projected growth, we are looking for meticulous, quality driven Machine Operators to join our Operations Team at our Jacksonville, FL branch location. At this branch, we specialize in OEM assemblies for large name customers such as Komatsu, John Deere and Caterpillar. This site runs a one shift operation with M-F schedule.
- Operate both manual and automatic machines following quality and safety standards
- Adjust machine setting to ensure accuracy according to provided specifications
- Complete product assembly and fabrication using provided production instruction documents, read measurement to plan requirements
- Complete hydraulic hose cutting to provided specifications based on customer requirements, anywhere from to 2 inches in diameter
- Attach coupling on to hose ends for Crimping procedure done by Crimper Operator.
- Quality analysis and checks to ensure accuracy, defect detection and recognition prior to failure
- Complete performance of general cleanup and maintenance of work area
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Ability to consistently lift greater than 40 pounds, remaining on your feet for extended periods of time
- Ability to measure accurately using steel scales, angle meters, rulers and calipers
- Prior work experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment, preferably with LEAN or ISO procedures in place
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and accurately follow directions
