Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, hosts are the first and last point of contact for our guests. You will be responsible for welcoming our guests into the restaurant, providing accurate wait times, and escorting them to the dining area.
Essential Duties:
- Must be able to withstand prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
Specific Requirements of this role:
- Greet guests upon arrival and bid farewell upon departure
- Seat guests at their table, present them with clean menus, and introduce their server
- Maintain and accurate, fair and up-to-date waitlist and seating chart using a computerized system
- Manage the seating chart, rotation amongst servers, and keep the kitchen informed of open menu counts
- Assist the servers, runners, and bussers with clearing and resetting tables for the next guests
- Other duties as assigned.
