BridgeTower Media is seeking a Senior Events Sales Executive to drive revenue growth across our national event portfolio. This role will focus on securing high-value sponsorships and expanding revenue streams for large-scale events. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of building strong relationships and leveraging industry connections to exceed financial targets.

This is a remote position with U.S. travel requirements. Candidates must be based in the United States.

Duties Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation & Sales Strategy

  • Lead sponsorship and attendee sales efforts by cultivating strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and optimize sponsorship packages across the event portfolio, implementing best practices tailored to each event type.
  • Develop and execute effective sponsorship and registration strategies, including pricing models, package structures, and go-to-market plans.
  • Design and implement sales enablement programs to drive success across sales teams, ensuring alignment with brand leaders, event staff, and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to maximize event revenue and profitability, continuously refining strategies based on data-driven insights.

Event Revenue Planning & Execution

  • Maximize revenue potential across large-scale conferences, expos, thought leadership programs, local recognition events, and webinars.
  • Implement innovative strategies and leverage technology to enhance the attendee experience, drive engagement, and optimize ROI.

Team & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and event operations, to ensure event strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison for external partners, sponsors, and attendees, fostering strong relationships to enhance event success.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Leverage data and analytics to track key performance metrics, including attendance, engagement, and revenue, driving continuous revenue growth.
  • Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to optimize future event performance.
  • Develop and present detailed event plans, performance reports, and post-event analysis to key stakeholders.

Qualifications Compentencies:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, event management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: 8 years in national event sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through sponsorships and attendee sales.

Leadership: Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to drive collaboration across departments.

Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate effectively with internal teams, sponsors, and stakeholders.

Technology Proficiency: Experience with event technology platforms, CRM tools, and analytics software to optimize event performance and sales strategies.

Results-Driven Mindset: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with a focus on achieving and exceeding revenue goals.

Strategic Thinking: Forward-thinking approach with a revenue-first mindset, ensuring continuous growth and event success.

Financial Acumen: Strong budget management skills and the ability to analyze financial data to maximize profitability.

Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Innovative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.

Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level executives, sponsors, and industry leaders.

Technical Requirements: Reliable home internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload.
