Office Associate:
This role is vital in our day to day operations. As an office associate, the job entails a variety of responsibilities and objectives making the day to day experience not so routine and tedious. This role isn't just a job, it's a career where you impact dozens of lives on a daily basis. In this role, you will be working with the public doing administrative task, technician assignments, and dispensing optical materials. All associates are positioned to be able to flex between both locations (15 minutes apart).
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, handle correspondences, greet patients, schedule appointments, collect payments, verify and bill insurances.
- Collect and input various screenings into the patients records for the doctors.
- Assist with finding frames and suiting patients to the best lenses based on there RX and lifestyle needs.
- Conduct contact lens application and removal courses.
- Help maintain high sanitation practices (disinfecting desk, equipment, exam rooms, taking out rubbish).
- Help open and close the practice when needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a customer service role required.
- Ability to proficiently multi-task and work under pressure is required.
- ABO and NCLE Certification is preferred but not required.
