Essential Job Functions
- Triage and obtain patient history from owner
- Perform diagnostic tests and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by DVM
- Provide support and education to pet owners
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Discharge patients and answer client questions
- Fill prescriptions and review with owners
- Maintain cleanliness of the hospital
- Prior experience in an emergency veterinary hospital, 3 years of experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Starting: $20-$27 per hour (based on experience) $5 differential between 10p-6a
