Description
BridgeValley Community and Technical College invites applications for adjunct (part-time) positions to serve in the Academic Affairs Division. These individuals will be responsible for the instruction of credit courses and clinicals; and maintaining lab equipment / areas as assigned. These positions will also be responsible for instruction of accelerated courses when applicable.
We are seeking adjuncts to teach sections in the following discipline : EKG Technician. The standard rate of pay for a four-credit hour / four contact hour course is $2,400 per semester.
Examples of Duties
- Instruct credit courses by identifying learning outcomes / competencies, developing lesson plans, syllabi and curriculum which establish and communicate clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects.
Complete required recordkeeping and grade entry for assigned courses Stay in communication with assigned Department Chair and Dean
Clinical arrangement and oversite of EKG students
Qualifications
EKG Technician certification from a recognized national certifying body
Preferred
Aptitude for using technology and innovative methods for instructional delivery.
