What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct - Anatomy & Physiology position at BridgeValley CTC?
BridgeValley Community and Technical College invites applications for adjunct (part-time) positions to serve in the Academic Affairs Division. These individuals will be responsible for the instruction of credit courses and clinicals; and maintaining lab equipment/areas as assigned. These positions will also be responsible for instruction of accelerated courses when applicable.
We are seeking adjuncts to teach sections in Anatomy and Physiology I and II. The standard rate of pay for a 4 credit 6 contact hour A&P I or II class is $3060 for the semester.
- Instruct credit courses by identifying learning outcomes/competencies, developing lesson plans, syllabi and curriculum which establish and communicate clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects.
- Complete required recordkeeping and grade entry for assigned courses
- Stay in communication with assigned Department Chair and Dean
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum
- Master's degree in field or 18 completed graduate credit hours in field, or a Master’s degree and substantial in-field experience.
Preferred
- Teaching experience
- Aptitude for using technology and innovative methods for instructional delivery
