What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct - Radiology Technology position at BridgeValley CTC?
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our Radiologic Technology Program as an Adjunct Instructor. This part-time position offers an opportunity to shape the future of radiologic technologists by providing high-quality instruction and mentorship to students.
The Adjunct Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction in the Radiologic Technology Program, supporting students' academic and professional development. The standard rate of pay for a three credit hour course is $1,800 per semester.
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans, assignments, and exams aligned with the program's curriculum as appropriate.
- Provide classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction to students in radiologic technology as applicable.
- Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations if applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance.
- Collaborate with the program director to enhance course content and delivery methods.
- Stay current with emerging trends, techniques, and advancements in radiologic technology.
- Participate in course development, assessment, and curriculum review processes as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology and/or a related field.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) radiography certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using integrative technologies for instruction.
Preferred:
- Previous teaching or clinical instruction experience.
- Master’s degree
