The AWS / DevOps Engineer will be part of a team working on the creation of a modern, web-based framework for an existing internal application. This is a dynamic and fast-paced project with a targeted production release by the end of the year, followed by iterative feature enhancements. This role focuses on leveraging AWS services, including DynamoDB and Glacier, to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement serverless architectures using AWS services, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and API Gateway
- Configure and optimize AWS services for storage and archival needs, such as Glacier
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform
- Implement CI / CD pipelines to automate deployments and streamline development workflows
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Ensure the security and compliance of the AWS environment, implementing best practices for access controls, encryption, and logging
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to align infrastructure with application requirements
