TITLE: CAD Engineer
LOCATION: Weld County, CO
The CAD Design Engineer supports the core engineering team in expediting the design release process. This role works closely with lead design engineers to transform design specifications into accurate 3D models and detailed 2D drawings. Utilizes NX and Creo CAD software to design components, sensors, assemblies, and other parts. This work plays a critical role in ensuring design documentation is properly released and managed in the product lifecycle management software.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate design specifications into 3D models and 2D drawings using NX and Creo CAD
- Create detailed mechanical designs of components, sensors, assemblies, and other parts
- Support drawing and document release through Engineering Change Notices (ECN) in WindChill PLM
- Ensure all design data is properly structured, versioned, and integrated with ERP system
- Collaborate closely with design engineers to ensure timely and accurate design documentation
- Adhere to industry and company standards for drafting and documentation
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of senior level 3D CAD design experience
- Proficient in NX CAD drafting and modeling
- Experience using PLM software (preferably WindChill)
- Background in the aerospace or machine parts tooling industry
- Strong understanding of ECN processes and design documentation workflows
- Experience with Creo CAD software is preferred
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry is highly preferred
Salary : $60 - $65
