What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at BridgeView?
BridgeView is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for one of our clients in the Portland area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle all incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency
- Accurately route calls to the appropriate departments, including parts, service, logistics, and others
- Log all relevant information into the CRM system
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers
- Provide updates to customers regarding the status of their service requests when applicable
- Utilize productivity tools (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage communications and scheduling
- Identify and escalate urgent issues to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a positive and customer-centric attitude in all interactions
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience in a remote call handling or call center environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service
- Experience in service coordination or dispatching is preferred
- Familiarity with logistics, parts, or service industry operations is a plus
