Role: IT Asset Management Analyst - 12-month long contract with high possibility of multiple extensions and conversion
Location: Novato, CA (On-site, M-F, 9am-6pm PT)
What you will do
Responsible for the day-to-day management of the enterprise technology assets. This role ensures that IT assets are properly inventoried, maintained, and disposed of according to established policies and procedures.
Working in close coordination with the Asset Management team as well as our partners (e.g., IT
Support, Procurement), the IT Asset Analyst will build and inventory hardware assets, and support all aspects of the ITAM lifecycle, including inventory management, analysis, and reporting. The combination of attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to partner with technical partners allows this individual to ensure the efficient and effective use of IT assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Report to the IT Asset Manager
● Track, receive, recover, deploy, and retire technology assets in a controlled manner
● Maintain detailed and accurate records
● Monitor inventory tracking and ticketing systems
● Involved in the purchase of new equipment
● Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
● Image computers
● Communicate with users, management, and other team members to determine the nature of
projects needs and issues to allow for effective asset deployment
● Performs on-site inventory audits at various times throughout the year
● Follow written and verbal instructions
● Lift, carry and move computer equipment as required
● Performs other related work as required
What you bring
Education & Credentials:
● A college degree is preferred, or relevant experience.
● Appropriate technical certification(s) are preferred, but not required (e.g., ITIL v4, ITAM)
Knowledge & Experience
● 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in an enterprise environment Demonstrated
knowledge of an enterprise ITAM framework.
● Experience with ServiceNow or similar platform.
● Considerable knowledge of computer hardware.
● Strong working knowledge of fulfillment/distribution systems and processes, productivity
standards, and technology.
● Strong working knowledge of core technologies (including but not limited to): AD, MDM
technologies, Windows and MacOS/iOS.
● Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook and query tools.
● Willingness to work flexible hours, non-business hours, or other scenarios required by the
flow of operations.
● Ability to work independently with limited supervision with strong initiative and finishing skills.
● Ability to prioritize tasks to achieve deadlines in a changing environment.
● Ability to perform initial installations or upgrades of computer hardware.
● Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, O365, Google Workplace, SCCM, Jamf, AirWatch
are pluses
● Some type of credentialing (MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA Network ) is a plus
● Demonstrated experience working in a time-sensitive, high-visibility environment.
● Experience working on projects and meeting deadlines.
Salary : $29 - $34
