Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in appliance repair, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers and dryers. As an Appliance Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction through your technical expertise and customer service skills.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Perform repairs on various appliances, including refrigeration units, washers and dryers.
• Read and interpret schematics to understand appliance components and systems.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in the field.

Requirements

• Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for various appliances.
• Experience as a field service technician is advantageous.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
