Job Summary
This Nursing Care Specialist role is responsible for providing efficient and effective nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The successful candidate will be accountable for achieving positive clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, and contributing to nursing assessments and care planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition.
- Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
- Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Hold current licensure by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification (as required by the state of practice).
