What are the responsibilities and job description for the Account Executive - Float position at Bridgewater Bank?
We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented bank Account Executive to join our Deposit Services team at Bridgewater Bank. In this role, you will support various branches by assisting clients with a professional banking experience by offering appropriate solutions to best meet their banking needs.
***This is a float position with the primary location being the Orono branch. Ability to travel within the Twin Cities required. Monthly travel stipend is available***
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides coverage for branch staff shortages, PTO and other absences.
- Opens, renews, and redeems all types of deposit accounts
- Orders checks, ATM/debit cards
- Responds to online requests for bill payments, ACH, wire transfers, etc.
- Acts as back-up to Client Specialist as necessary
- Develop and maintain expert knowledge of retail products and services and ensure clients are aware of BWB’s products and services
- Develop and cultivate long-term client relationships to ensure sales growth and customer retention
- Makes monthly calls to welcome new clients and follow up on previous requests
- Maintains an understanding of security policies and procedures
- Provides input and suggestions for new service and product ideas
- Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA
- Assists with onboarding new hires
- Positively represents the bank in all interactions with clients, coworkers, and vendors
- Assists with transaction overrides and review
- Assists with daily operations of the branch
- Provides back up to the Branch Lead when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years retail banking experience
- Proven experience adapting quickly to different team environments and branch procedures.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel to different branch locations within the designated region
- Superior customer service skills
- Proven sales and business development skills
- Demonstrates and exhibits leadership qualities
- Knowledge of ITI, EZ Teller, and currency management
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
