We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced HR professional to join our team as a Human Resources Business Partner. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this individual will play a critical role in aligning people strategies with business priorities to support organizational success.
The HR Business Partner will collaborate closely with business leaders and cross-functional HR teams to deliver thoughtful, effective solutions across employee relations, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
Serving as a trusted advisor and coach, this role is key to fostering a positive employee experience, ensuring consistent and compliant HR practices, and supporting scalable, high-impact programs that contribute to the bank’s continued growth and award-winning culture.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Serve as a frontline partner to people managers across business lines.
- Partner with business leaders to align people strategies with team and organizational goals.
- Ensure consistent, compliant employee relations and coaching practices.
- Use data and insights to advise on engagement, retention, and workforce planning.
- Deliver HR programs in collaboration with Benefits, Compensation, L&D, and Talent Acquisition.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Support small-scale organizational design and workforce planning efforts.
- Collaborate closely with Payroll and Benefits teams to ensure accuracy and consistency on employee actions such as leaves, job changes, and status updates.
- Escalate legal, compliance, or high-risk employee matters to the VP of HR or legal counsel as appropriate.
- Deliver key HR programs and processes—such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, and open enrollment—in collaboration with other HR functional areas.
- Partner with leaders and employees to support change initiatives and foster a high-performance culture aligned with the bank’s values.
- Facilitate employee feedback channels, including surveys, exit interviews, and collaborate on actionable insights.
- Contribute to HR-led projects and continuous improvement efforts focused on enhancing organizational effectiveness.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the VP of HR.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 3–5 years progressive HR experience with strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, and leader coaching.
- Proven ability to guide and support leaders through organizational change and workforce planning.
- Experience using data to drive decision-making around retention, engagement, and team development.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence without authority and manage complex or sensitive issues with discretion.
- Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across teams, including with Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Recruiting.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and resourceful in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and SharePoint.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The typical annual/hourly base pay range for this role is between $80,100 - $120,020. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
