We are looking for an experienced and dynamic ServiceNow Administrator to join our growing team Technology team. Reporting to the IT Director, the ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and adoption of ITSM tools, technologies, and workflows. The ServiceNow Administrator will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our platform. The administrator will collaborate closely with executives, functional leaders, and subject matter experts to develop and deploy new business processes.
This position is based out of our St Louis Park, MN headquarters, with opportunities for flexible work arrangements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure ServiceNow applications and modules, including (ITSM) Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, (ITOM) CMDB, Discovery, (ITAM) Hardware and Software Asset Management.
- Configure User Accounts, Groups and Roles Create custom Roles where necessary.
- Collaborate with team to develop and maintain Forms, Reports, Views, Workflows, and Portals.
- Create and maintain scripts for advanced customization and automation.
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including access controls, role-based permissions, and data encryption.
- Ensure that the ServiceNow platform complies with organizational policies, standards, and best practices for security and data protection.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for platform enhancements and process improvements.
- Participate in the planning and execution of platform upgrades and new releases.
- Develop and maintain a clear roadmap for ServiceNow tightly aligned with the needs of the business.
- Assist support staff with troubleshooting and ticket resolution.
- Work with internal security to recommend role, profile, and hierarchy changes.
- Support testing cycles (UAT, regression, system) and/or Training Materials.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of the platform.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation to assist users in utilizing the platform effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with integration technologies such as REST, SOAP, and LDAP.
- 3-5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform functionalities, including ITSM, ITOM, and ITAM modules.
- Strong knowledge and experience with scripting & automation with the ServiceNow Workflows, Service Catalog, and Knowledgebase.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other scripting languages for developing custom solutions within ServiceNow.
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision as well as in a team setting.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Background in Banking or Finance.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The typical annual/hourly base pay range for this role is between $94,500 - $134,200. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
