What are the responsibilities and job description for the Autobody Painter position at Bridgewater Collision Repair?
Job Summary
Automotive repair facility in Central NJ doing business for 30 years.
We are looking for an experienced autobody painter who is highly motivated and will work well in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications and Skills
Skills needed include but are not limited to:
- properly clean surfaces to be painted
- sanding and buffing to remove paint defects
- light blending and light body repair
- masking cars and body cars for paint
- be able to identify damaged areas to be repaired
- experienced painter (single stage, two stage, three stage)
- be a good team worker, detail oriented, efficient, and organized
Preferred knowledge in:
- Tape and paint pinstriping
- Reassembly on finishing trims such as emblems and mouldings
Must supply your own spray guns.Buffer preferred but not necessary.
