Position: 250034 - Oracle Field Service (OFS) Lead
Location: Hybrid - San Antonio, Texas (3-4 days/week onsite)
An Oracle OFS Lead is a senior-level position responsible for overseeing the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of Oracle Field Service (OFS) Cloud solutions within an organization, acting as a technical expert in the platform, leading project teams, and ensuring successful delivery of OFS functionalities to meet business requirements, often collaborating closely with clients to understand their unique needs and design optimal solutions within the OFS framework.
Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Conducting in-depth discussions with stakeholders to gather business needs, identify pain points, and translate them into functional specifications for OFS implementation.
- Solution Design and Architecture:
- Designing comprehensive OFS solutions, including system integrations, data mapping, workflows, and user interface customizations to align with business objectives.
- Implementation and Configuration:
- Leading the configuration of OFS modules like scheduling, dispatching, work orders, asset management, service contracts, and reporting based on the defined solution design.
- Technical Leadership:
- Providing technical expertise on OFS features, functionalities, and best practices to the implementation team, guiding them through complex technical challenges.
- Project Management:
- Managing the project lifecycle of OFS implementations, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- User Training and Support:
- Developing and delivering user training materials to ensure smooth adoption of the OFS platform by end users.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
- Identifying and resolving technical issues related to OFS functionality, collaborating with Oracle support when needed.
- Change Management:
- Facilitating change management processes to minimize disruption during the OFS implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Monitoring system performance, identifying areas for optimization, and proposing enhancements to improve the effectiveness of OFS within the organization.
Required
- 10-12 years of experience
- Deep Expertise in Oracle Field Service (OFS) Cloud:
- In-depth knowledge of OFS features, functionalities, configuration options, and best practices.
- Technical Skills:
- Understanding of related technologies like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), integration tools, and data management practices.
- Project Management Skills:
- Proven ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables within a complex implementation environment.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Business Acumen:
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions within the OFS platform.
